It is forbidden to use the stop mechanism to bring the hoist to a halt. People must not stand under the load or pass above it. Heavy objects must not be left hanging in the air for long periods of time. It is also prohibited to press the buttons in opposite directions at the same time. In case of brake failure or the hoist starting to slide, do not turn off the power; instead, hold down the “descend” button until the hoist reaches the ground.
