How to choose? Ask yourself these questions: 1. How often is it used? — "How many times a day?" · If it is used frequently every day or for long periods of continuous work: choose an electric hoist. It can reduce labor intensity and improve work efficiency. · If it is used occasionally, only a few times a week or less, and not for long periods: choose a manual hoist. It is less expensive and more economical. 2. What is the weight of the object being lifted? — "How heavy is the load?" · For lifting objects weighing 1-2 tons or less: either manual or electric hoists can be used. If the frequency is not high, manual hoists are more cost-effective. · For lifting objects weighing over 2 tons, especially over 5 tons: it is recommended to choose an electric hoist. Under heavy loads, manual operation is not only labor-intensive but also poses safety risks. 3. Is there a power source available in the working environment? — "Where is it used?" · In places with fixed power sources such as workshops, warehouses, and production lines: electric hoists. · In outdoor, field, newly built construction sites, equipment maintenance, and other places without power or where access to power is inconvenient: manual hoists are the choice. Consideration can also be given to the combination of "electric hoist + generator," but this will reduce cost and convenience.
