Typically, the lifting chains of hand-operated hoists are not made of aluminum alloy material.

As can be seen from relevant product specifications, chains that play a crucial load-bearing role are typically made of “high-strength specialized alloy steel” (such as G80 or G100 grade).

“Aluminum alloy,” on the other hand, is primarily used to manufacture components such as the shell and handles of gourds, with the aim of reducing weight and preventing rust. This is primarily based on the following considerations:

· Strength requirements: The lifting chain must withstand immense pulling forces, whereas the strength of aluminum alloy is significantly lower than that of alloy steel. Under load, it is prone to breaking, which fails to meet safety requirements.
