Installing a New Chain 1. Passing the Chain Through the Pulleys and Guide Rails: · Pass the new chain through the pulleys and guide rails following the same path as the old chain. · Ensure that the chain is not twisted or kinked. During installation, the chain should not be twisted between the pulleys and the shaft. 2. Connecting and Securing the Ends: · Connect both ends of the chain to the designated fixing points, which may require the use of special connecting pins or bolts. · Make sure the connections are secure and reliable. Tighten the connections according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and specifications. 3. Inspection and No-load Test: · After initial installation, manually pull the chain to check if it engages smoothly with the pulleys, without any jamming or abnormal friction. · Before actual use, perform a no-load test: Hang the chain block in a safe position without any load, and repeatedly pull the chain to operate it up and down. · Observe whether the chain operates smoothly and whether the braking and self-locking functions are sensitive and reliable. Only after confirming that everything is in order can the device be put into regular use.
