When selecting lifting equipment, a margin of safety should be left for the load.

Why must there be a margin of safety? Dynamic loads and impact loads · When calculating the required lifting capacity, you usually consider the static weight of the object. · However, during the actual lifting process, accelerations when starting, braking, lifting, or moving horizontally will generate additional inertial forces, causing the equipment to bear an instantaneous load that is greater than the static weight of the object. This sudden force is known as 'impact load'. · Without a safety margin, this impact load can easily lead to overloading of the equipment, posing a danger.
