When lifting heavy objects upwards, pull the manual chain clockwise, which rotates the hand wheel; when descending, pull the hand chain counterclockwise, causing the brake seat to separate from the brake pad, the ratchet to remain stationary under the action of the pawl, and the five-tooth long shaft to drive the lifting sprocket in reverse, thereby smoothly lifting or lowering the weight.
