Hand-operated hoist braking system

The braking system of the hand chain hoist: - Friction plates: Installed near the gear shaft, they bear the pressure brought by heavy objects. - Brake seat (or brake): When a heavy object tends to fall, it immediately presses against the friction plates, generating tremendous frictional force to stop the entire system. Pushing up on the handle lifts, pushing horizontally moves the load without weight, and pushing down releases the brake and allows controlled descent of the heavy object. This design ensures that at any time, as soon as you release the handle, the heavy object is immediately locked in place.
