Precautions for Blackening Treatment: · Blackening treatment is one of the most cost-effective surface treatments for lifting chains. · Its rust resistance depends on the anti-rust oil applied to the chain. If the oil film is damaged or the oil dries up over time, the rust resistance will decrease. · This treatment is not suitable for long-term use in humid, marine climates, or highly corrosive environments (such as chemical plants or coastal areas). In such conditions, it is recommended to use chains that have been galvanized or treated with Dacromet. · During regular maintenance, if you notice that the surface of the blackened chain has dried out or shows signs of rust, you should promptly reapply anti-rust lubricating oil. When selecting lifting chains, be sure to choose the appropriate surface treatment method based on your usage environment, rust prevention requirements, and budget. For most conventional industrial applications in indoor or dry environments, blackening treatment is a cost-effective option.
